Our Construction Department

Since 1985 we have designed and installed more than 800 environmental rooms in California. Temperatures range from -40 ° to +60 ° Centigrade. We also provide humidity control for rooms within these temperature ranges.
All rooms are designed and manufactured to meet your specific needs. Quotations are provided at no cost to you on request.
Our engineering/design staff is well-versed in environmental and industrial refrigeration. Each of our design personnel has in excess of 30 years experience in the air conditioning and refrigeration industry. We welcome the challenge to overcome obstacles presented by unique applications.

Our Service Department

H.R.I maintains a staff of well trained service technicians. Informal educational classes are held in our facility on a weekly basis. All of our service personnel attend formal schools presented by manufacturers throughout the United States and Canada. We believe that a well educated technician is what the customer expects and deserves.
Our service department is available to serve you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Response time to emergency service calls is normally two hours or less.

Our Engineering Department

Our Engineering/Design staff is well versed in Environmental and Industrial Refrigeration. Each of our design personnel have in excess of 35 years experience in the air conditioning and refrigeration industry. We welcome the challange to overcome obstacles presented by unique applications.

In the past we have successfully designed and produced highly specialized systems which have been installed aboard nuclear submarines operating under the polar ice cap.

We have also designed and built complete systems with a temperature deviation no greater than plus or minus one degree Celsius. These very same systems are now in operation in the desert where temperatures can vary from 30 ° at night to 135 ° during the day. H.R.I. just recently designed and built a prototype "step in" incubator which operates with a temperature differential no greater than one half of one degree Celsius.
The prototype was examined by an independent engineering firm and accepted for use in tissue growth research. As you can see, we do rise to the challenge.
